An extraction is the removal of an entire tooth including the roots. Typically extractions are done in our office under local anesthetic. However, if needed, other types of sedation such as nitrous oxide, oral sedation, or IV sedation can be used to help relax patients while extractions are preformed. Additionally, our office is contracted with a surgeon who performs more difficult extractions in our facility. Therefore, patients can have their dental needs met at our location.
