Our office uses that latest technology in taking x-rays which is done digitally. Digital radiography is a form of x-ray imaging in which digital x-ray sensors are used instead of conventional film. Digital x-rays require much less radiation and can be placed on computer monitors for easy viewing by both doctor and patient.
Special computer software allow radiographs to be enhanced, clarified, and enlarged. Digital x-rays can be e-mailed for quick sharing with specialists or even insurance companies.
